As a drone pilot documenting the fabrication process, that summer felt different: monitoring the process wirelessly from my phone, I was amazed at how the construction was orchestrated where a group of 8-10 people managed to completely re-imagine a wild site, lay the groundwork, and build a very unique, 3D-printed foundation. So on a daily basis, besides joining the construction, I watched the cabin grow from my bird-eye view.

Most of the time, the drone was a winged camera taking shots from tricky angles none of us can reach. At other times, hovering in the air, the drone ceaselessly sent a much welcome breeze to the ground, adding coolness to our lunch hours and construction efforts. The drone is a fan, after all!
