Spread across a 20’x 20’ area of the warehouse we laid the sliced pieces of ash on the floor. The goal is simple: let’s fine-tune the arrangement of panels at the seam to closely match the curvature of their neighboring panels. Working with the Rhino model, a couple of tape measures, and a high appetite for riddles, we puzzled our way through about 15-16 piles of stacked wood that were labeled by façade sections. All we knew is that the ground is flat, so what's not straight on the ground is curved. Let’s get to work, slice by slice!
