I didn’t exactly call him a chicken, but that's what I was implying when Sasa expressed his reservations about driving the rental truck over a large ditch. The steep ditch that bordered the road was the only obstacle between us having to carry over a thousand pounds of concrete a few hundred yards, and us dropping-off the concrete a short distance from the building site.
Once confirmed that backing out was indeed impossible, the next hour was spent hacking away with pickaxes and shovels at the dirt which now firmly lodged the 26’ rental truck in the ditch. We did not get stuck on the way out, though!
